ServerTX.com | Have you ever seen someone losing money in a slot machine, and they
can't stop? I watched a lady one time, as she lost several hundred
dollars. Just when she should have cut her losses and quit, she instead
broke out her credit card and bought $200 more in tokens. This was
money she couldn't afford to lose. It was stupid, and needless to say,
she lost the $200 pretty quick, pouring it down the same slot. When I hear that our President is actually going to increase the number of troops in Iraq, it reminds me of that whacked bitch. Having already squandered 3,000+ troops and half a trillion dollars, we have to try something different. So, rather than cut our losses, we are going to go for broke - in spite of the fact that most Americans, our Generals, the handpicked Iraq Study Group, and the rest of the world all think it's a bad idea. But it's worse than a bad idea. It's delusional - the desperate paranoia of a megalomaniac. Here's something to think about: 4 years ago, George W. Bush publicly stated that "God" had told him to invade Iraq. It now seems plain that God had nothing to do with it. This leaves only two possibilities: Either Bush actually believes God told him to invade, in which case he is hallucinating; or else Bush intentionally lied about God telling him to invade Iraq, which makes him a diabolical figure indeed. If the President lied about God speaking to him, this negates all of this "God's man in the White House" nonsense. If the President lied about this, he doesn't even believe in God, and has been using his false Christianity merely to get political support from the appropriately named "sheep" of the fundamentalist ilk. But if he didn't lie, and he really believes God told him to invade Iraq, then things are much worse. It means that the leader of the free world is hearing voices that aren't there. It means he is as crazy as a shithouse rat. There are no other choices - he's either a phony or madman. Either way, he's clearly willing to see people die to advance his agenda. And like that desperate woman at the slot machine, he seems unable to step back from the precipice. | |
