When Skunk Dots publisher Jennifer "Skunk" Tingay lost her husband in June, she had to take a couple of months off to relocate the business and retool it a little. She made sure her readers and advertisers knew and understood.
The loss of her husband was a tragedy for Jennifer, but it was nothing more than a chance to make a few bucks for the greedy fuckers at the Thunder Roads Magazine.
Sales assholes from the glossy  biker mag went out to see Skunk Dots advertisers, explaining how they needed to advertise with Thunder Roads, since Skunk Dots had gone out of business.
Skunk Dots has not gone out of business, and the lying bastards knew it.
How the hell can you justify cashing in on somebody's death like that? That's fucked. And don't think for a minute I have any stake in Skunk Dots. They're a competitor of mine, more so than Thunder Roads. They've cost me a few bucks here and there, and raided us for a good writer, Nuke and Pave Dave. There's no love lost.
But somebody over at Thunder Roads is so greedy and worried about money that they have no compassion for the dead, so long as they can earn a buck on it. That's the kind of shit that makes me embarrassed  to say I'm in the publishing business.
Thank God we don't have any salespeople working for us, or I'd call them all in and fire them for belonging to the same "profession" as the miscreant grubbing wallowing pigs that work for publishers who are motivated by dollar signs.
Get a fucking clue. The free press is what made America great, and it's what will save it someday. You guys don't know nothing about that, you're just kissing asses and telling lies, and it's all about the motherfucking money. Shame on you.
